Sacha Jenkins and David “Chino” Villorente co-hosted the “Piecebook Battle” @ Fondation Cartier in the Montparnasse district of Paris. It was very cool. The judges and finalistsThe finalists and judges: it was pretty obvious that Reso and Katre were reigning supreme during the competition. But we were all surprised when a tie was declared between them. As winners, they received 100 cans of spray-paint, a specialized POSCA carrying case full of markers and a copy of Sacha and David’s “Piecebook: The Secret Drawings of Graffiti Writers,” published by Prestel.
